20th Anniversary of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie

TMNTWe would be remiss if we didn’t report that it was 20 years ago today that those lovable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made the leap from comic strip to big screen. Released on March 30, 1990, the live-action film was well received, opening in the #1 spot and eventually raking in a respectable $200 million worldwide.

The film, as you may already be aware, tells the story of four stealthy, super-turtles, each possessing mad fighting skills. When a group of criminals called the Foot Clan begins to terrorize the citizens of New York City, the quartet of vigilante turtles leaps into action, giving the Foot Control a run for their money, and saving the Big Apple from chaos.
