Friday_the_13thIt may not seem as if three decades have passed since we were first introduced to Camp Crystal Lake and a psychopathic killer named Jason Voorhees, but tomorrow, May 9,2010, marks the 30th anniversary of one of the most successful horror film franchises of all-time, Friday the 13th.

Made on a shoestring budget and grossing almost $40 million at the box office, the success of this film would lead to 11 sequels, a television series, and a recent remake. Let’s take a look at the original trailer:
