I was born in September, 1956, supposedly the same week that Elvis recorded "Love Me Tender". I was born and raised in New Orleans, where I currently live. Some of my favorite memories involve music (Beatles, ABBA, Roy Orbison, Elvis, the Monkees, the Mamas & the Papas, Ricky Nelson) and television (Bozo, Happy Days, The Adventures of Superman, Batman, The Green Hornet, The Brady Bunch, The Partidge Family). But I also have some toys stuck in my memory. Such as Captain Lightning (who could turn into a number of different super heroes (Batman, the Phantom, etc.), my talking Casper the Friendly Ghost doll...as well as my talking Bugs Bunny doll.
