What can I say, I loved growing up in the 70s and 80s. Those were wonderful time that were full of fun and adventures. There was always something to do back in those days, and it didn’t include computers or video games. In the 70s, kids didn’t lock themselves in their rooms playing some ultra violent video game all hours of the day. We just simply played outside and used our imagination. All I needed were my Star Wars action figures, a dirt mound, and a little imagination. I could instantly transported myself to a galaxy far away.
Saturday mornings played a vital role in my growing up. I remember those wonderful Saturday mornings waking up at the crack of dawn to watch cartoons. I would literally wake up before the TV stations even began broadcasting anything. I would be glued in front of the tube enjoying cool shows like Super Friends, Jason of Star Command, Tarzan and The Super Seven, Bugs Bunny, Fat Albert, Shazam, and Ark II. I watched until the cowboy shows came on and my father took over the TV. Those were the days!
