There were three rows of balloons, to be exact; blue, green and yellow, each row moving in opposite directions at the top of the screen. Below the balloons stood a clown upon a see-saw, who would be launched into the air when a second clown jumped on the other end of the see-saw. The game was afoot when the jumping clown sent his colleague up towards the balloons and he would burst as many as he came in contact with before succumbing to gravity and falling. The tricky part for the player was to position the see-saw wherever the falling clown would land and that landing sent the other clown up into the air to work out his aggression on the balloons. Clowns 'died' if the player misjudged the fall and unless there were more clown lives left, it was game over.
Clown and balloon abuse proved popular distractions in the late 70s and the game was even revived by Atari for their 2600 system.
