When boys first got introduced to Huskies from Sears, there wasn’t any problem. They looked just like all the other boys clothes – just bigger.

But you really knew what Husky meant when the teasing on the playground started. “Husky” became a term for a boy who was wider than the other boys, and suddenly the Huskies weren’t so desirable anymore. The Sears brand featured wide waists and thighs, but normal length legs, for the boy who was of normal height, but a little more portly around the middle.

So, you continued to wear your Huskies, since there really were no other options. Meanwhile, you tried to lay off that second slice of pie, and hoped that you’d get taller soon.
