An especially successful, if somewhat tamer version of the platform was the "Kork Ease." It represented a more natural approach to the platform's wackiness and was also comfortable because it allowed the foot to mold itself into the insole. The "Kork Ease" had another advantage: it was priced between $25 and $40 and thus had a wide following. But crazy was the true image of the platform, which rose up to 6 inches high on a bed of color.
