NICE, verrrrrrrrry nice Flat Top!
As the spring slips by, and summer weather starts to heat up, mothers take their little boys to the barber for the dreaded buzz cut. It wasn’t about fashion – it was just cutting all the hair off your head for the “almost bald” look. The local barber would sit you down, and you could feel the clippers, hear the angry buzz, and feel the tickling vibration as the metal comb caressed your head, removing all but a fuzzy tuft of hair. Your locks floated to the ground as you watched, powerless. If you were lucky enough to have a nicely shaped head, the buzz cut wasn’t too bad. But for poor boys with less than perfect domes, the buzz cut only maximized any bumps and odd curvatures. Ah well. At least your hair was bound to grow back by fall.
