Release History:

1986 - Crocodile Dundee
1988 - Crocodile Dundee II
If it’s true that good things come in twos, then the sequel to the 1986 hit Crocodile Dundee must be full of them. Reuniting Paul Hogan with Linda Kozlowski, the Australian adventurer was back for more fish-out-water shenanigans. John Meillon returned as the lovable, huggable Walter Reilly while Hechter Ubarry and Juan Fernandez teamed up as the villainous master and henchman duo of Rico and Miguel.

When Sue Charlton’s (Kozlowski) former husband is killed for taking pictures of a murder, Sue’s grief is compounded when she discovers that he sent the pictures to her. Worse still is the fact that the murderer in question is the notorious drug lord Luis Rico (Ubarry). Rico sends his henchman Miguel (Fernandez) to kidnap Sue, but the drug lord fails to consider one thing: the pluck and panache of Michael J. “Crocodile” Dundee, who storms his stronghold with the help of a local gang and rescues his damsel in distress.

Of course, when FBI protection proves to be too dicey, Mick takes Sue to the one place where he knows he can keep her safe… the Outback. Right behind them comes the ruthless kingpin with a whole band of assassins ready to end this thing once and for all. But Mick’s survivalist knowledge and rugged awareness keep him one step ahead as he eliminates his pursuers one by one until all that’s left is the showdown with the head honcho and his main man.

While not the box office bonanza that its predecessor was, Crocodile Dundee II was still number five at the American theaters in 1988 and fetched $300 million worldwide. And after a thirteen year hiatus, Mick and Sue would resurface one last time in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.
