Quite possibly one of my #1 films of all time!! I remember watching it when I was 10 when my sister's friend stayed over and he brought that movie with him. I watched it every day, about 2-3 times a day. I thought Kira was this incredible angel or fairy, and the music in this film always has and will make me teary-eyed. I love every single thing about this movie. I love the characters, the visuals, the colors, the plants, the gelflings, the skeksis, Fizgig, Aughra and her incredible place, and even the landstriders.

I'm not sure why this movie would scare anyone, I was more enthralled than scared. I thought the Skeksis were disgusting with their table manners, LOL! I remember many scenes from this movie, and watching it again as an adult still gives me that amazing feeling that not many movies keep.

A couple of years back, I had made a Kira costume for Halloween. I even made a Fizgig puppet and got a back mechanism that can make wings move..so I made wings and attached it so they would "flap". I ended up winning the costume contest that year, and I was very happy to see a lot of people knew who I was dressed as!
