The shaggy, slobbering Digby could have been just anydog. Instead, he just keeps on growing – and growing, and growing. Digby, the Biggest Dog in the World, has got to be cut down to size.
It isn’t the poor British sheepdog’s fault. He didn’t know he was lapping up the highly classified, experimental vegetable-growing liquid Project X. But now he’s growing bigger and bigger, pounding thunderously through the city and lapping up whole lakes with his gigantic tongue.
How the stop the enormous canine? Her Majesty’s Armed Forces can only think to blow him up. But Billy White, Digby’s young owner, is scrambling to come up with an equally powerful shrinking potion. Will he make it before Digby’s blasted to canine kingdom come?
The U.K.-produced Digby didn’t make a big splash in the U.S., but its strangely-dubbed dialogue and wacky skits earned it a devoted pack of fans who sit patiently waiting for a chance to catch the big pup onscreen again.
