Okay...this is a cool memory. My best friend and I were freshman and somehow heard this rumor that Journey was playing baseball at the local college that weekend, so just for kicks we rode our bikes early to the baseball field. No one was around. We sat in the back of the parking lot just hanging out, figuring we heard a bunk rumor, when a young woman came jogging our way. I remember the sun shining through her long blond hair, and she suddenly stopped before us and asked if we've seen Journey around. We said no, and the woman continued on. (I remember thinking she looked like one of those L.A Gear commercials)...We realized it was Christie Brinkley, and Journey WAS going to be playing....against Billy Joel? Sure enough, within the hour cars came driving in and members of Journey and Billy Joel himself were setting up to play baseball. Mind you, this was a &*!#py old jr. college baseball field with potholed parking lot....but we were local, so it was just a private game. We ended up getting Billy's autograph too.....wonder where that is now?
