ChicagoI'm adding Chicago as a "conditional" favorite. Songs like Beginnings and Saturday in the Park fuse rock, pop and jazz seemlessly. The had a jazz fusion sound that was at the same time mainstream and radio friendly, yet retained its edge.And 25 or 6 to 4 is in my opinion just a plain great rock song, one of the best, period. I have to say though, I am not a huge fan of the their schmaltzier ballad stuff, which, sadly is what most people associate them with. The only Chicago ballad I really like is "If You Leave Me Now" (possibly because of the Beach Boy backing vocal) Gold Stars: 2 GOLD STARS:
