First Day of School

Oh man I remeber it like it was yesterday....I always wanted to go to school, my older brother would bring home cool art and neat things and the place sounded like fun...Well in 1967 I was 5 and it was my turn, mom dressed me up and off to school I walked with my brother(we were poor so mom had to work). I walked in the classroom and my god everyone was crying, I was so confussed as to why. I met and shook the teachers hand, got my neat name tag and she sat me down where I looked at all the crying kids. Later while she was done dealing with these whiners, she brought me some paper and crayons where I proceeded to draw and color my first real "school projects" to show mom.

A totaly different day to say the least, but soon it got alot better and I started making friends in my class...
