MEMORY:

This one shows the (yellow) Shunter (my first "matchbox") which has become part of a legend in our family's history because of the first spanking in my life: It has been one of those evenings in which has been one thing after another. My family was gathered in our living room to watch TV. I was there to play with my toys. I don't know if the legend is true, but today it's a fact that my elder siblings have sent me to my room and I've announced, "Than I'll smash the pane." My Dad answered, "Do it and you'll get your behind whooped." Faster than sound I shattered the glass door of the tall corner cupboard with the Shunter. First of all I was grounded in my room while my folks began swepping up the broken glass. After a few minutes the vacuum cleaner stopped and faded into silence. I remember waiting, tense expectation and listening to the noise of a heated debate in the living room, realizing how deep I was in trouble. Suddenly the noise faded and just as suddenly the living room door opened: "Randy come here. Your presence is needed." ... After a long lecture my dad ensured that I've learned not to vent my anger with matchbox.
