Fisher-Price Little People

I only had the barn and the garage when I was little (loved how the garage would 'mooooo' when you opened the door). My cousins, however, had everything - Main Street, airport, house, treehouse, school, post office, western town... and probably many more that I'm forgetting). We used to combine our sets sometimes to create a city... Little Golden books formed the roads that cars zoomed on. The green shag carpet in their living room was the grass. Good times indeed!

When I was 3 or 4 and attended day care, the Little People treehouse was the most coveted toy. I never got to play with it until my dad had to be at work early and started dropping me off at 6:30am. Then, I got there first and the treehouse was ALL MINE! It was kind of anticlimactic, I admit... not nearly as fun as I imagined it would be when coveting it from across the room.
