MEMORY:Ah, PULSAR, the "See-Thru Grampa" of the 12" action figure universe. I loved him as a kid. Despite the fact he wore a too-tight spandex track-suit, his legs had limited flexibility, he was too huge to fit into G.I.Joe or even the Six Million Dollar Man's duds, and Barbie wouldn't even give him the time of day, Pulsar still rocked!I have no idea what his creators were thinking (or smoking...) when they envisioned a "ripped" senior citizen with a flip-top head and fully visible, working guts (the lungs, heart, and blood actually pumped via a manually operated button in his back!) but they gave him a tough as nails countenance to go with it and that meant business! If only his pants would have been able to stay up. Hypnos was cool too. An evil, alien, cyborg ..... and tranparent purple! He was scary looking with or without the mask, and noisey when operated, just like a good villian should be. Two great toys from my childhood in the 70's that I'm proud to still own!
