Army Men

Who didn't love plastic army men, they were inexpensive, and something your mom would probably buy you at the store, most came with a plastic vehicle of some sort in the bag, usually a tank etc, and would provide hours of fun.

There was more expensive sets, those usually came with better crafted soldiers, that were painted and molded to look like enemy combatants, Germans vs Americans etc,those would be the ones you would get at Christmas time or birthdays.

Most plastic army men were subject of abuse, usually around the 4th of July, I would get the tanks, those fireworks that would when lite would go forward, shoot sparks and then shoot off a explosive as the cannon, my army men would hold the line and usually get melted by the sparks from fireworks tanks, ahh good times.
