Tamagotchi

One day one of my friends brought a toy to school that I just couldn't get enough of. I found out they were called Tamagotchis and ask for (and received one) for my 12th birthday. Unlike other kids I never brought mine to school, instead having my mom look after it (ok I was a lousy parent) One day my Tamagotchi died while I was at school. I then put the toy away and moved on with my life, later one night I woke up to an incessant beeping and had to search through my desk drawer to find a new Tamagotchi had hatched. Yeah those things got kind of annoying after awhile.
