America couldn't get enough of the Flintstones, the modern Stone Age family, so in 1971 Hanna-Barbera produced The Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show, starring Pebbles Flintstone and Bamm Bamm Rubble as teenagers.

No longer toddlers, the two neighbor kids were more than friends (Oh, Bamm Bamm!) and the show followed their adventures around Bedrock. The two teens attended Bedrock High with their friends Moonrock, Penny, Wiggy and Bad Luck Schleprock, the unluckiest teen you ever met. Other students at school included Pebbles' rival Cindy, her boyfriend Fabian and a motorcycle gang called the Bronto Bunch.

Pebbles and Bamm Bamm spent a lot of their time cruising around in an old jalopy and playing in a band, the Bedrock Rollers. The elder Flintstones and Rubbles also made appearances but in supporting roles.

After a year on CBS, The Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show came back to the nest and paired up with The Flintstone Comedy Hour in 1972 and with Fred Flintstone and Friends in 1977.
