Release History:

8/23/65 - 8/30/69 syndicated
The title says it all – DoDo was a kid from outer space. He originally lived on the planet Hena Hydro with his mechanical bird Compy. Together, they meet different kinds of Earthlings and find out more about them with the help of Professor Fingers, one of Earth’s most important researchers.

The series was produced by Halas & Batchelor, a British company who created the 1950s series Animal Farm based on George Orwell’s book. DoDo’s look was based on Japanese cartoons that were popular at the time, such as The Amazing Three.

The program aired on syndication starting in 1965, and became popular during its time on several NBC affiliates from 1966 to 1969.
