This show is hilarious, Heathcliff was one CRAAAAZY cat, I like this version better than the DiC version, b/c of it's humor and it was a classic, I still watch this on Boomerang, and I even watch Heathcliff and Marmaduke on FAM and now also on Boomerang, God Bless Mel Blanc for his excellent performance as the voice of Heathcliff, and God Bless Ruby-Spears, abc, and the cast for a job well done, and God Bless Dean Elliot for providing the music for Heathcliff, also this show was on when Happy Days and Benson were still on the air, this show was also on abc when the late Jack Barry was hosting The Joker's Wild, The Winkster was still hosting Tic Tac Dough, Jim Lange was hosting BULLSEYE, and Jim Perry was still hosting Card Sharks, and this show was on when The Jeffersons, Diff'rent Strokes, The Facts of Life, and One Day at a Time were still on the air as well.
