American Bandstand

Oh yeah! American Bandstand. I remember laying around in my PJ's all morning on Saturdays watching cartoons until noon. But then the icing on the cake is due to come on around 1 o'clock - AB! I knew I had to wash up and have my clothes on before I could watch it - needless to say I didn't mess around. In intense anticipation, I remember watching the clock - until AB is only mere seconds away until the top of the hour when the first note of the famous American Bandstand theme begin to play! Oooh joy!

(Perhaps my parents gave me just a tad too much free time?) ;)
