MEMORY:My sister (and lots of other little girls) had a Mrs. Beasley doll in the late 60s/early 70s. I still remember the theme music with the titles displayed over a background of swirling jewels. The one episode that comes to mind involved Sissy befriending a group of flower children/hippies. She brings some of them home to meet the family and one of the back-to-nature women looks at Buffy and Jody and coos, "Look! Little people!" I also recall a late 70s punk song about the actress who played Buffy OD'ing: "Uncle Bill, Uncle Bill, I took some pills. Mr. French, Mr. French, I'm feelin' tense."RELATED ITEMS: |
