In one of the shorter-lived sitcoms in modern history, actor Peter Scolari, coming off the successful series Bosom Buddies, managed to make a brief pitstop on the sitcom, Baby Makes Five.

The story, which one could probably figure out on their own if they tried hard enough (or at least come reasonably close) involved married couple, Eddie (Scolari) and Jennie Riddle, parents of three kids, who added a set of twins into the mix. Their respective mothers, Blanche and Enda further complicated their already chaotic lives.

Unfortunately, since the sitcom only lasted a month, the viewing audience never really got to know how much hijinx was caused by the two delightful little newborns. Fans of Peter Scalari only had to wait a short while, however, to get another view of their favorite actor. Not long after, he was cast as the annoying yuppie, Michael Harris, in the hit sitcom, Newhart, which did considerably better in the ratings and gave them years of future hijinx adventures to enjoy.
