All Dogs Go To Heaven, the 1989 animated feature film from Don Bluth, starred a dog named Charlie who died and went to heaven. Once there, he conned his way back to earth to take vengeance on his killer. Instead, he found redemption through a little orphan girl, in a story that was both heartwarming and successful. This original film lead to both a feature sequel and an animated series on television.

In All Dogs Go To Heaven: The Series, Charlie and his friend Itchy return as guardian angels to children who need them. The comedy featured Charlie and Itchy getting involved in misadventures every week as they tried to help kids. Several characters were reprised from the original film, including Charile’s rival, Carface, as well as his friends Sasha, Annabelle, and Killer.

The film’s voice actors were also featured in the TV series, including Dom DeLuise, Ernest Borgnine, Charles Nelson Reilly, Bebe Neuwirth, and Sheena Easton.
