This 1998 short-lived series, Brats of the Lost Nebula, was produced by Jim Henson Studios and focused on the lives of Zadam and Triply, a brother and sister who had been sent by their parents to the lost nebula after their home planet was destroyed by an evil army known as The Shock.

Upon arriving at the lost nebula, the siblings met up with a trio of fellow refugees: Ryle, a fierce competitor with a blue complexion; Lavana, a winged sorcerer and Duncan, the muscle of the group. Assisting the band of young warriors was a floppy-eared creature named Splook who wore a suit of armor laden with missiles. As the group joined forces to fight the evil Shock, they utilized “Smarts” the smartest computer in the universe, as well as some highly modified battle cruisers at their disposal. They frequently engaged against Hextar Vigar, an officer of The Shock, and his wormish assistant, Blite, not to mention The Hosts, the mysterious evil overlords that sought to destroy them.

Using unconventional combat techniques and motivated by a desire to reunite with their lost parents, The Brats of the Lost Nebula were a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, even the masterful puppet design from Jim Henson Studios couldn’t give them the appeal they needed to last for more than a single season and after a 13 episode run, the Brats would remain lost for the foreseeable future.
