When Mrs. Beaver delivered a new litter of beaver babies, the old dam home just started running out room. The oldest kids, Norbert and Daggett were forced to move out and build a bachelor dam of their own. Thus begins the saga of The Angry Beavers.

 

Norb and Dag were as different as two beaver brother could be. Norbert, older by four minutes, was cool and confident. Daggett was hyperactive and impatient, with a tendency to shout insults like "weasel weenie" and "spoothead." Their constant bickering made for entertaining disasters. Dag was always making crazy plans, like learning martial arts, getting elected to Forest Ranger, and masquerading as “Muscular Beaver.” They were joined in their adventures by baby sisters Stacey and Chelsea, Barry the Bear (modeled after Barry White), Truckee the truck-driving shrew, Treeflower, Bing, Big Rabbit, and Stump the stump.

 

A mix of The Odd Couple and Ren & Stimpy, the beavers proved a hit with kids, and Nick continues to air the program after several season.
