I was born during a time of strange, glowing meteors, three headed cats, and big cars with fins and grilles like shark's teeth. The world hadn't changed yet, but she was pulling stuff out of her closet, trying to decide what to wear. Elvis, JFK, MLK, Timothy Leary, Jims Hendrix and Morrison, they're all dead, and have nothing to do with this, but it's retro-hip to bring them up from time to time. My race, if it matters, was the 100m. freestyle, 'til I pulled my latissimus dorsi donning my swimcap.
