All in the Family
I grew up watching this when I was a kid. My dad loved the show. My favorite episode is when Mike invites his friend, David, over for Christmas Dinner. Only thing is David is a draft dodger, and this infuriates Archie to no end. It has a really nice ending where Archie's friend chooses to eat dinner with David because that is what his son (who died in Vietnam) would want.

Donny and Marie
I don't remember much of this show as a kid other than their theme song. I even had a Donny and Marie microphone and tamborine lol.

Big Trak
I had one of these. My parents limited me to firing it 5 at a time. It really served no purpose. Mine died out after a few years.

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood
I remember a top 40 radio station I listened to used to start its morning show with the Mr. Roger's song Come On and Wake Up. He also had a good sense of humor as he found Eddie Murphy's Mister Robinson's Neighborhood funny. He taught a lot of kids valuable life lessons.

Sno-Cone Machines
I think we had one of these. The cool thing was kids could make sno cones safely.

Atari
I had an Atari VCS. We were always playing the games on it. However, I think when Pac-Man and E.T. were released, it really gave Atari a black eye. I remember the video game crash of 1983-84. Video games were literally being sold out of bargain bins. The last atari game I bought was StarMaster in 1986. I got it at an Austin, Texas Walgreen's for 99 cents.

Newhart
One word: Hilarious. And when Larry, Darryl, and Darryl came in, it got funnier. Of course, the final episode was classic. In all final epiosdes of TV programs I have seen, Newhart's tops the list. Then a year later when CBS did the Bob Newhart Show's 19th Anniversary Special, they made Bob's dream about being an innkeeper in Vermont the plot of the special. For an added bonus, Larry, Darryl, and Darryl showed up at the end as elevator repairman. Classic.

ABC Afterschool Special
I used to watch these all of the time as well. They would come on at 3 or 4 every month. And parents had no problem with them since they were wholesome. Two things killed it off: Changing times and Oprah. People just weren't interested in the afterschool specials anymore by 1997. And Oprah hated getting her show pre-empted in the 4pm time slot she had on many ABC affiliates. She hated it so much that she took over the show for a short time. Too bad they are gone now.

Cheers
One of my favorite shows. I still have the final night of Cheers on videotape. It consisted of Bob Costas doing a pre-game, the final episode itself, a local news affiliate doing a story, and The Tonight Show live from the Bull & Finch Pub in Boston. Unfortunately, the Tonight show's program was not good because half the cast was inebriated and/or uninterested.
