Ditto Paper
Ah! The ditto machine. Like others have mentioned, I can remember the smell of freshly printed pages and that the paper still had a somewhat damp, cool feel to it when fresh. Of course, all of us kids wanted to be selected by the teacher to man the crank - What were we thinking? Kids today really miss out on sniffing the toxic ditto fumes. ;)

Captain Kangaroo
How I loved watching Captain Kangaroo when I was small. I always laughed when Mr. Moose and Bunny Rabbit caused the Captain to be bombarded with pingpong balls. For some reason, I always was fascinated by the fact that Bunny Rabbit wore glasses. I think that I liked the puppet characters more than the human ones.

MEMORY:
My mom always loved cats and we always had at least a couple around the house. This was my favorite one.

Tinker Toys
Tinkertoys were great. I could always count on getting a can of them for Christmas every year. My favorite construction projects were anything that required those rubber bands to move gears. I think I remember building an elevator or something like that. Squrpleboy - you're right! Isn't is wierd how a smell can bring memories - kind of like crayons.

MEMORY:
Here I am at 10 years old. I had my first pair of glasses to correct for nearsightedness. I tried contacts but always came back to the trusty glasses.

Leisure suits
This was a 70's wedding all the way. My older brother and his wife decided to get married in a park, in the winter. On the left, my dad is styling a tan leisure suit and some sweet shades. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I was wearing a green Levis version of a leisure suit. Lucky that I'm taking the picture and there is no evidence of my slight fashion mis-step.
