Ocean View Amusement Park
I got to go to Ocean View when I was a kid. When we got to Norfolk, I saw the amusement park and asked if we could go. That was all I could talk about as I remember. We got to go at night and I wouldn't get on a single ride except the bumper cars with my cousin Julie. I cried even on those. I was only 4, so I can be forgiven. I can still rememember Nanny and Julie asking me if I wanted to go on a ride and me shaking my head vigorously NO! At least I got to go before they blew the park up.

YIKES! IT'S A MIME, NO IT'S TWO
I vaguely remember this show when I was a kid. I thought it was funny. I loved the skit where they were in the kitchen. I forget the rest of it but I do remember seeing that and laughing... hey I was what? 5?!?!

Boogie Nights
I remember hearing this as a kid and it scared the living daylights out of me. I thought they were singing "dance with the boogie man" instead of "dance with the boogie get down".
It wasn't until 1992 that I heard it again and realised what this song was and what memory I had of it and to actually hear the correct lyrics. lol

Green Machine
Nanny got me this for Xmas when I was a kid. I loved riding this. I didn't have a big wheel, but I thought this was much better. I didn't get to ride it long. My cousin Shannon sat on it one day and busted it. ARRRRGH!

Smoke anyone?
Ha! These were so fun. Us little kids thought we were cool... those of us who didn't actually smoke the real things.

Village People
I remember my neighbor had one of those portable record players and had the 45 to "knock on wood" by Amii Stewart and "YMCA" by the Village People. She would plug it in on her porch and we'd skate up and down the sidewalk doing the "YMCA" dance and just having fun to "knock on wood". All on a cold winter's day!

Snake Fireworks
I remember getting these when I was a kid. My dad set them off and I started screaming and crying. It looked like a real snake to a kid. lol

Alice
I love watching this when I was a kid. The theme song is still one of the best ever!
I never cared for the character Belle though. I loved the Flo era best. Jolene was a good character but her "twang" got on my nerves.
