As a child... I was very shy and a bit of an "oddball". I had my own "special vocabulary" too... if I did not know what an object was or how to pronounce its correct name; I made up a name for it (ask me some time to tell you about the whoppanaides or frekya frekyas). I came out of my shell during high school and am now more of a "people" person; however, those who know me best could tell you I never lost my "oddballness". ;)

I currently reside in Indiana; though I spent most of my life in Tennessee... so I am very much a southern gal. I am happily married and we have a gorgeous 3 yr. old son (I may be a little biased).

I was a semi regular poster on YL and was sorry to see it go under. However; I am glad to have found RL and see many of the friends I made on YL over here. I look forward to catchin' up with ya all; former YL'ers and newcomers alike. :)
