Click Clacks / Clackers / Kerbangers
My older sisters played with these. They would go all the way to the end of the block and you could hear the noise echoing throughout the neighborhood. This is actually one of my earliest memories when I lived near Hollywood FL.

Lunch
I remember when I was in kindergarten and we were all sitting in the lunchroom at one of those long foldable tables. I had finished just about everything on my tray except the lima beans; I would not touch them. My teacher told me to finish what was left on my tray so I tried them and I didn't like them so I threw everything up! That showed her! They sent me home that day with a note that suggested I start bringing my lunch from home, that was fine because that cafeteria food sucked! To this day I do not like lima beans!
Another memory of school lunch was about a year later. We had a special day that we would all dress up like cowboys, so we were all sitting at the long table in our costumes in the lunch room and in walks the principle dressed up like a cowboy. Our school principle was a round, bald headed fellow and when he walked in wearing a red bandana, little cowboy hat and boots worn outside of his pants, we all busted out laughing, it's a site I can still remember like it was yesterday! So I had a mouth full of food and I was laughing and all of a sudden I feel my tooth twist and become loose and fall out of my mouth. Needless to say, I was never a big fan of school lunches in the early years, the 70's. 80's lunches were much better, but that's another story.

Erasers
I always like going to the school bookstore and buying the erasers that looked like cars. I would do custom "paint jobs" on them using my pencil.

Stretch Armstrong
My sisters got one of these for me for Christmas one year. I had never heard of Stretch Armstrong before but I thought he was pretty cool. I seem to remember enjoying the smell of the rubber-like material that it was made of. One day I stretched him one too many times or his body got worn out and he started bleeding this dark thick reddish syrup like ooze, so I played with that for a while. I rememeber the stuff making quite a mess, but the texture of it was very interesting.
