I've been very fortunate in that, with only a very few, short-lived exceptions, I really have enjoyed every period of my life. As for my childhood in particular, it was filled with out-door adventures, bicycles, sling shots, cap guns, dinosaurs, comic books and chess boards -- and I was surrounded always by a loving and supportive family. No complaints whatsoever, believe me -- I have definitely been blessed.
