I'm a Southern California girl who grew up in the 70's and 80's. My favorite times were in the 80's though. Thats when I was old enough to do a lot of things. Don't get me wrong, the 70's had its charm, but I was just a baby then. I did like the music of that time though. But the 80's opened up new doors for me, and the music and dress became cooler. I was tired of the 'hippy look'. I liked how the 80's made people not scared to make drastic changes in their apperances. Guys wearing eye liner, girls cutting their hair short and spiking it up. Colors, colors, colors galore, mix and match, layer them, it was fun times.
