Big Wheel
I loved my big wheel,it was awsome! The only bad thing I remember was the detachable seat, the pegs and holes could get easily mutilated. The end result was my seat often popped out of the holes resulting in a loss of back support.
The above listed picture was my second Christmas gift.I have always been into vehicles of any type and this may be one of the reasons why.My pre-Big Wheel was a bad to the bone all terrain vehicle.

Fisher-Price Little People
I had the garage, jet plane and atv explorer. These toys were the most used and abused in my collection. They were awsome. The Fisher Price factory is only one half hour from my house, they have a great museum filled with all the classics.
An often told story by my mother has me riding my atv explorer naked down the sidewalk when I was two years old.Apparently I snuck out,she looked out the window to see me riding into the sunset.
I still remember the sound of the horn on the atv,as well as putting lots of pennies in the slot by the shifter. This was by far my favorite toy as a young boy.

KISS
I remember being in kindergarten and first grade and being a KISS fan.Somehow without my parents knowledge I saw a concert on HBO,Gene Simmons spewing blood and fire and those costumes.I was hooked on rock at a tender age.I had the lunch box and a few albums, trading cards and a Destroyer jig saw puzzle.Of course I had mom put her lipstick on my face and I ran around the neighborhood as Peter Criss,Gene Simmons was to artisically challenging. These guys were the epitome of cool in the 1970's.

First Day of School
There isn't a whole lot I remember about my first day of Kindergarten, but my picture speaks for itself.I was a 70's kid with my own individuality.I know from my mom that I chose my shirt(with images of flying dirtbikes) for that first day. These were pre-backpack days,we carried the pictured pillowcase like bags. Most of my classmates bought the school bag with it's logo and colors,I opted for the Crown Royal purple bag.I don't think I was scared,as I had two buddies from my street by my side.I remember getting a cubby to store my things in and sitting next to a nice girl and a boy named Peter who had bad breath and severley cracked, chapped lips.School turned out okay,I stuck around the system for twelve more years.
