PHOTO: Christmas 1968 Christmas 1968This is the Christmas mini-tree that my brother and I had in our room. It was in addition to the big tree that was in our living room (we weren't rich, just obsessed with Christmas).There are two things that I like about this photo: 1) In the upper-left side of the photo, you can see a left-over Halloween skeleton on the wall. 2) Directly behind the Christmas tree you can see what looks like a yellow yard stick hanging on the wall. That was our 'growth chart' that my mother used to chart our growth. Each time we were measured (every three to six months), my mother would mark the yard stick with our name and the date.
