Fisher-Price Little People
I loved my Little People House and castle. I always wanted the farm because I thought it was cool that the barn moo'ed when you opened the doors.

Count Chocula
Boo Berry was my favorite, but Count Chocula was great too. Frankenberry was OK, but I guess I just liked the bluish-purple milk I had left in my bowl after Boo Berry. Today's cereals just don't compare. Too much nutrition, too little sugar.

Ultraman
I used to watch this EVERY DAY after school as a kid. My mom used to laugh at me for being the only girl on the block who wanted to dress as ultraman for halloween.

Romper Stompers
We had hardwood floors in our house, and I can remember my mom yelling at me to "take those #$%#ing things off" - especially when I chose to use them in the early mornings. They disappeared one day, and I found them years later in a cabinet in the garage. Wonder how they got there?

Clue
My grandfather taught me to play Clue when I was 6. Every time I'd go over there we'd drag out the old set with a piece of sting for the rope, different colors of buttons for some of the players, and a bent bobby-pin for the revolver. He never LET me win, but he taught me good strategy. In later years I found out that he always looked forward to our Clue games, and even though I gave him a new set for Father's Day one year, we still played with the old one.

The Bionic Woman
Jamie Sommers was the greatest!!! I don't remember any of the actual episodes, but I do remember pretending to be the Bionic Woman.

My Friend dolls
I had My Friend Mandy, she was my absolute favorite doll. My grandmother used to knit and crochet clothes for her. My oldest daughter even accuses me of naming her after this doll (not true!!).

Bionic Woman
My Jamie Sommers doll was always the hero when I played Barbies. The Barbies would end up in some kind of trouble, and Jamie would come save the day. Best times were had when my neighbor would bring his Steve Austin doll (sorry, action figure) over and we would play "Bionic People."

Star Wars
I loved these movies growing up. Since most of my friends were boys, I always got to be Princess Leia, but that was OK. She could kick butt just as well as (or even better than) the guys!!

Yes & Know books
My mom would always get one for me when we on long trips, or when I had to wait for her during Dr.s appointments and stuff. She had her cancer treatments at Duke, and they sold them in the gift shop. When we would get there, she let me pick one out, and I spent the rest of the day in the outpatient waiting area blissfully unaware that anything else was going on. The staff would bring me juice and popsicles from time to time, and they always told my mom what an angel I was. Little did they know I was just completely enthralled by my Magic Pen.
