*** SPEED RACER *** Back in 1970's, during my childhood years, I viewed my very 1st Japanese anime on TV. I was thrilled just to watch it & the theme song is quite memorable too! Follow Speed & his turbo charged Mach-5 as he races around the globe & defeats colorful villains, & of course the infamous Racer X. M favorite episode has to be "The Mach-5 vs. the Mach-5" episode 22/23. As for 2008, I gotta go see the new flick "Speed Racer," I've seen the trailer & looks really good!

*** CAMILO SESTO *** D/O/B 09/16/46, born in Alcoy, Spain. This is a famous Spanish singer & composer who enjoyed fame during the 1970's and the 1980's. Probably the most prominent male voice of Spanish pop music at that time, he became famous for his powerful, carefully arranged ballads, pop & rock. He is the artist with the world record of more number ones in the world: 52 successes in whole & 18 in the 40 principal ones. Til this day, Camilo Sesto has sold more than 120 million albums worldwide. Here are my fave song traxx's: 01. Algode Mi, 02. Perdoname, 03. Colorina, 04. Amor Libre, 05. Ayudadme, 06. Entre Amigos, 07. Jamas, 08. Si Tu Te Vas, 09. Melina, & 10. Quieres Ser Mi Amante? If you like the international music scene, then this is A MUST HAVE for your music collection!

*** SPACE 1999 *** Great SCI-FI series for your TV viewing pleasure! Back in the 1970's during my childhood years, this TV series was one of my favorite's. Plus the theme song is groovy too. My favorite episode is "Bringers of Wonder." It'
s about a ship from Earth carrying friends & relatives of Alphan personnel lands, proclaiming it is possible for all to return home. But Commander Koenig, in his eyes, the wonder of the moment is broken, & the the bringers of good news arent human....they are ALIENS! Plus my favorite character on this series is Mya, which she looks like human female that can change into any creature, human, or animal. P.S. "For everyone who crosses over into your world, one of you must cross into ours!"

*** THE RAMONES *** Hometown: Queens, N.Y. This is one of my faves Punk Rock groups from the 1980's. I first heard of them on a local radio station in So. Cali back in July 1977 with the song traxx "Sheena is a Punk Rocker." The Ramones' brand of rock n roll is punk music with silly lyrics backed by a fast & thunderous wall of power chords. The group starred in & supplied much of the music for the 1979 film "Rock N Roll High School", which I have on DVD. The band members include: Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, & Tommy Ramone. They were one of the first new wave acts signed to a major label. Here are some of my fave song traxx's: 01. Needles & Pins, 02. We Want The Airwaves, 03. Rock N Roll High School, 04. Commando, 05. I Wanna Be Sedated, 06. Do You Remember Rock N Roll Radio?, 07. Pinhead, 08. Blitzkrieg Pop, 09. Sheena Is A Punk Rocker, & 10. I Wanna Live. From this moment forward, rock & roll will never again be the same!

*** THE STRANGLERS *** With over 30 hits to their name, picking a definitive track listing which best reflects The Stranglers career to date is indeed a daunting task. Inevitably The Stranglers ended up as willing participants of the Nu Wave movement, through as far back as 1977 there were some doubts about their "punk" credentials. All in all this rock band is a unique blend of music that brings 70's/80's era together. Here are my favorite song traxx's: 01. Skin Deep, 02. Golden Brown, 03. No Mercy, 04. European Female, 05. Duchess, 06. All Day and All Of The Night, & 07. Always The Sun. If you never heard of them, then your really missing out on good music!

*** SHALAMAR *** Hometown: Los Angeles, CA. Shalamar started as an anonymous studio group & later beacame a trio consisting of a dancing duo, Jody Watley & Jeffery Daniel, and added another member Howard Hewett. At about the time the group's pivotal album, The Look, was released in the summer of 1983, Watley & Daniel quit Shalamar to pursue individual interests. Here are some of my fave song traxx's: 01. I Owe You One, 02. Second Time Around, 03. Make That Move, 04. Dead Giveaway, 05. A Night To Remember, 06. This Is For The Lover In You, & 07. Dancing In The Sheets. Also Shalamar's songs for the D.C. Cab & Footloose soundtracks were recoreded. Gotta have this group in your music collection!

The Fixx came together as the final line up of a group called the Portraits, with lead singer Cy Curnin. They decided to change the band name to make a fresh start & giving up their day jobs in 1979 to concentrate on writing & performing in the London circuit. Here are some of my fave song traxx's: 01. Built For The Future, 02. Saved By Zero, 03. Red Skies, 04. Woman On A Train, 05. Less Cities, More Moving People, 06. Stand or Fall, 07. Sunshine In The Shade, 08. Are We Ourselves, 09. One Thing Leads To Another, & 10. Lost Planes. I have several music CD's, music videos on DVD, and 8X10 photograph of the band.....they rock!

Join William "Buck" Rogers & Colonel Wilma Deering as they lead the crew of the starship Searcher against a galaxy of evil from the past, present & faraway future. My favorite episode "Vegas In Space." Sin never looked so good when Buck is sent to the gambling city of Sinaloa to rescue a kidnapped young woman from the city's wicked ruler, Velosi.
