New or Old Stepford Wives?

I'm going to answer it this way:I feel that the new one improved on the original, but it would have gone from B to A+ if it had been creepier and less of a comedy. |

The Classic Stepford Wives (and even the Stepford Children w/ Barbara Eden) was WAAAAY better than that &*!# they tried to pass off as The New Stepford Wives! No contest! _________________ Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional. |

If I'm not mistaken, the test version of the remake was a bit creepier but audiences didn't like it. It was brought back and re-edited to make it a bit cornier and spoofier rather than a stright up remake. _________________ People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I actually liked both. They were two completely different kinds of films, although I preferred the ending of the original. As for the remake, it's really hard for me to dislike anything with Christopher Walken. _________________ "I couldn't feel any better or I'd be sick' - Dean Martin

I prefer the original. I like all the actors in the remake, but I thought their performances were terrible. |

I liked them both, but for different reasons, as stated above. But the original is better, and closer to the book. |
