I was amazed when I finally made the connection that Jerry O'Connell played Vern the chubby kid in Stand By Me. I guess he grew out of his baby fat.

Was also used as soundtrack for TV series, Crime Stories. That always reminded me of this movie. I think it was based loosely on a novela by Steven King.

It was the first DVD that my family ever bought. Actually a few nights ago, my friends and I watched it after a good drink and smoke. I love it! It's definetly up there with my favourites.
