Posted: Sun Nov 16, 2008 7:49 am Central Time Hi I'm hoping you can help me, I'm looking for the name of a perfume - it was out at the time of Poison (the original one) that would be mid to late 80's and it smelt similar to poison - but less musky - with a sweeter edge to it..... I've smelt it again recently on someone but she didn;t know what it was called I've been looking for it on and off for years and years!! I bought poison in its place as i could never track it down on the perfume counters. Other suggestions for perfumes that my husband can buy me would be gratefully received too - ones I like at the moment are.... j'adore, dolce vita, tresor, ysatis (smells like the dentists!!) and anais anais... what do you think I might like as a change?

Posted: Fri Nov 21, 2008 12:00 am Central Time I second Exclamation as a possibility. I have to watch what perfumes I wear because most don't smell nice on me, but Exclamation works. And they still make it - you can get it at just about any drugstore. I also like Sunflowers, which has a similar scent (not sure if they still make that one), and I LOVE Chance by Chanel. It's pricey, but I know someone who is related to someone who works for Chanel, and she is always getting me really nice gift sets that have perfume and other goodies like lip gloss or skin creme.
