What all artists can you think of that you thought were someone else when you first heard them, or at least reminded you of another artist? Here's two to get the "list" started: Ace Of Base...sounds like ABBA (especially in the song "Beautiful Life") Dishwalla...sounds like Gin Blossoms ("Counting Blue Cars")

Bobby Vee made a great effort to sound like Buddy Holly.

A local band that almost broke through was The Pinheads...the lead singer sounded just like David Lee Roth Personally I could never tell the difference between Blues Traveler and The Dave Matthews Band. They all sound like Gavin Rossdale from Bush to me.
