Pop this into your CD player and with the most expressionless face you can make, just stare at her. I guarantee she'll never talk to you again. |

Well, I finally did it. That talky co-worker was finally getting on my nerves yesterday that I almost exploded. I just had to tell someone. My supervisor said she would talk to this woman and work everything out. The woman just passed me by while I was working without saying anything. I feel pretty guilty for silencing her and I feel that I'm not so friendly anymore. I just hope I can face her when Monday comes. |

Dude you did the right thing, and sometimes the right thing is not always pleasent. But don't feel about it, you'd feel worse if you did nothing!!
But if you wanted to be mean, you could've made a plate of fudge for her made from ex-lax chocolate
Good luck. |

Thanks for those kind words.
I went back to work today and the girl just passes me by and gives me the silent treatment. She doesn't say hello to me or even smile at me, just one quick wave. I feel pretty bad for doing this to her and to myself. |

Too bad. For her, that is.
Next time, though, if you really want to get rid of someone, ask if they've accepted Jesus into their heart.
Chances are you'll never hear from them again. _________________

That's only because I'm trying to get you to maximize your full potential and eliminate the negativity in your life, Rooney. Wouldn't you like to attend just one auditing session? _________________

Not to mention being his friend on Facebook as well so he can read our most personal thoughts about Jesus.... And he's still here! I think we're slowly converting him, Roon! _________________ www.hauntingheather.com

Sometimes taking action isn't the most comfortable thing to do, especially when people's feelings are at stake. However, if you wouldn't have taken action, she would have probably continued to drive you nuts. Your response was appropriate, and she needed to get the message, whether or not she wanted to hear it. I know it hurts now, but in time the dust will settle. If you feel bad, just remember that you did the most tactful thing, and in time, the tension will eventually cease...or maybe she'll be moved to another office. |

Well, today I went and apologized to the girl for doing this to her and she said I shouldn't need to apologize. She realized that I have a right to my privacy and she respects that. Now she's smiling and saying hello to me again. I'm glad I made amends to her and things seem to be back to normal. Now I can sleep better tonight. Thank you all for listening, understanding, and giving me advice during this rough time. |

Remember that talkative co-worker I had problems with? Well the other day, I heard her and my supervisor in another room and it sounded like they were having some kind of shouting match. Then later that day, she got transfered to another part of the building. It seemed like she was getting on everyone else's nerves too.
I would've liked to be her friend in the first place if she wasn't so nosy or critical. I'm just glad she's out of my office and I can have a peaceful mind again. |
