This is a little message to Talespin lovers : here's a new Talespin site where fans can submit arts, fics, articles, ... and where you'll also find the Talespin soundtrack and the comics!

Everytime I see a site like that I feel like crying.
What has happened to television?
Just a few years ago my family room was like a cartoon explosion. Wonderful toons, new and old, morning, noon and night! Then watch out for Saturday morning!
What happened? Even cable lets me down now. I want funny, not gross. Friendly, not nasty.
OK, I have to stop now. I can't see what I'm typing through my tears. |

That reminds me of a local news story I saw a few years ago about some athlete. The subject's father was telling the newsman/woman that every Saturday when his son got up in the morning, instead of "watching cah-toons, he'd turn on the spo-uhts stay-shin."
Okay, to each his own, but think of it this way: back then Saturday AMs had cartoons. Listening to that phrase "Instead of watching cartoons..." I wondered if this sports figure ever misses that part of Saturdays that he had skipped over in his childhood that hardly exists in his adulthood? |

Cartoons was the only reason why I would woke up a 7:00 AM, every Saturday mornings. _________________

Thanks for the nice comments Yes, and it's not only nostalgia - at least in my case, because I didn't watch Talespin when it used to air here in France. I discovered it a few months ago...
Actually, I have managed to get both Talespin creators (Jymn Magon and Mark Zaslove, who worked on most Disney Afternoon TV series) to answer the questions of the fans!
Here's the dedicated section where a lot has already been answered...
