I understand that everyone is exceedingly frustrated. And I understand why. Just to let you know, we've been hit with literally hundreds of spambots every day for the last few months. These spambots require several steps to ban. This takes time. We're exceedingly behind and exceedingly frustrated. To boot, those spambots are different from the person who's posting. We have reason to believe that the person who's posting is not related to the spammers, but a sock puppet stirring trouble. We've blocked that IP. If you find that you're unable to log in, it is because your IP is identical to the spammer. Silent Ninja did not catch this thread when he was doing a moderating sweep a few times, and that is definitely our error. I know that many of you are asking for moderators to be appointed from the member base, but we've been there, done that, and seen the backlash. We're sorry. We'll do our best to work on catching these things more quickly, but we won't be appointing member-moderators. As for the spambots, we're working on functionality for new-user spambot prevention, but updates like that take time. I can assure you that NO spammers are actually sanctioned or in transactions with the Retroland owners. And none will be. We're simply being hit by an attack of spambots of indeterminate origin, and struggling to catch up. We appreciate your patience - whatever patience you have. Thanks, LSPE
