Brussel Sprouts
Posted: Wed Jul 29, 2009 9:57 pm Central Time
For all my life I've never been able to like brussel sprouts. Today, we tried fresh sprouts, and they were much better! Just remember: buy fresh. _________________ Oh Gloria, with hair like granite. |

I love brussel sprouts. Butter, salt and pepper is all they need. |

Fresh brussel sprouts are really good if you cut them in half, and then saute them in olive oil with garlic and a little bacon. The edges get a little caramelized... good stuff. |

My favorite is steamed. _________________ People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

There is no such thing as a brussel. There is a place called Brussels. It is in Belgium. The vegetable that you guys are referring to is called a "Brussels Sprout." lol _________________ The spammers are taking over.
