It fills a need for topics not covered on RL.

Re: Should Retro Central Go,Too?

Of course not. As has already been stated by others, we need a place for general and off topic discussions. I think the dynamic of the board could stand an overhaul because all of the in-fighting, paranoia that the end is near, and complaining in general has grown tiresome and off putting. But it still serves a purpose.

Getting rid of the Retro Central forum is not on the table. Smile

How's about we create an "off-topic" forum? It'd take quite awhile to transfer all the off-topic posts there (or you could just erase RC), but whatever.

retro central is already an off topic/casual board, so we don't really have to go through the trouble of making a new one.

No, no, no!  It is a good (and necessary) "catchall" board.

No.  Every site needs a General Discussion forum.

Even if RL Central went, we'd just go back to using the Lost and Found board, which was done prior to mid-2001 on YL.  Smile

Again, the Retro Central board isn't going away.  It is your general discussion board. Smile
