Posted: Wed Oct 14, 2009 6:26 pm Central Time Went into Odd Lots, a chain discount retail store, recently (October 10) and they were selling Christmas decorations!!! Dear GOD. Right next to the Halloween candy and monster knick-knacks were the Santa odds and ends. Look, I know some people want to do their shopping early, but this is just preposterous. Can we wait until one holiday is over before Decking The Halls In Boughs Of Holly?

Three of the pieces showed up, but the most crucial was left behind at the warehouse. But they had plenty of room to bring up Christmas stuff. In September. And yes, they were starting to put it out.
